Unbounded logic paper

Abstract

This paper introduces and defines unbounded logic as a specific cognitive capacity that emerges when the Default Mode Network (DMN) is permanently brought to rest. Unbounded logic is not intuition, genius, spiritual insight, or the temporary clarity of meditation. It is pure logical reasoning operating without the constraints the DMN normally imposes: no inherited assumptions, no ego investment in conclusions, no narrative filtering, no authority deference, and no artificial separation between domains. The paper distinguishes unbounded logic from all known partial versions — including flow states, meditation-induced clarity, psychedelic dissolution, spiritual awakening, and near-death experience — by demonstrating that in every other case the DMN remains loaded and reasserts dominance, producing only temporary and domain-limited access. It presents four case studies in which unbounded logic, applied to problems that have resisted expert scientific attention for decades, produced frameworks of greater simplicity and explanatory power than those currently accepted. It proposes a testable neurological distinction between unbounded logic and all bounded alternatives. And it argues that the human-AI collaboration — a human operating from unbounded logic combined with AI systematic knowledge retrieval — constitutes the most powerful instrument currently available for approaching multiversal truth.
